Fair enough the fish will only grow to the size they can in a tank. BUT their internal organs will continue to grow and the normal rate meaning the inside is going to get bigger than the outside!...
thanks, hes solid to get a good picture of because he's so small. Hes just a baby at the moment, but they stay small anyways (well duh it is a DWARF puffer! :p)
i've already put up 3 pictures for...
Sorry but that is the wrong advise!!
lets say they are common plecs, they grow HUGE i mean easily 18inch's, clown loach's grow to around 12 inches and should be kept in groups of about 4 or 5....
Well finally managed to get a dwarf puffer (been after one for weeks) and his name is tad (because he looks like a tadpole apparently)
only pic so far:
...
btw are they common plecs?
sorry i know you have another problem at the moment but if they are your tank is amazingly over stocked!
well in that case yes its WAY to small!!!
WAY to small for any one of those fish never mind all of them!!
what are the dimentions? got any pics?
what size is the tank? would imagine if the tank is too small then there would be issues like fighting ect
Regals can grow huge! also heard they are VERY prone to getting white spot
that would be amazing, i wouldnt be able to eat my food i would just be looking at the fish all the time.
posts like this are brilliant because they help people understand what to go for and what not to go for. Any pictures?
good idea to put them in shops ect, i got a good one by me, i could ask if they wouldnt mind having a few?
lets hope it gets a few more members in :D
any other pics? if it is a common plec you'll have no choice really, you will HAVE to find it a new home since it will just grow to silly sizes. I think the average is between 18 - 25" :o
tbh a...
went up in the attick earlier to find my old plastic 5g tank sitting there doing nothing, so thought i would do something with it but i dont know what :/
theres a filter in there and gravel with...
As far as i know female tetras are bigger and as you look down on them from the top of the tank they are wider.
what kind of plec is it? PLEASE dont say common plec as you'll have to take it back...
it looks great so far
brilliant! lazy fish! ha ha
what fish could you cactually keep in this? i thought most would grow too big?
i LOVE it!!
what size tank is that in?
yeah but what plant is it? theres LOADS of different kinds!
Welcome :D
I was a bit confused at first since thats the normal username i use lol
what plant is it? if its a fern it will need to have its roots out in the water rather than in the gravel. I take mine out of the pot and everything and bury them in the gravel. But be warned your...
nooooo i mean the stand/cabinet for it!
why not build it? thats what i plan on doing :D
I wondered that too! but apparently the plants will take it before it reachs any danger levels
